This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... Neches River At Rockland affecting Polk, Jasper, Angelina and Tyler Counties. Neches River Near Diboll affecting Angelina, Trinity, Houston, Polk and Tyler Counties. Neches River Near Alto affecting Trinity, Anderson, Houston and Cherokee Counties. Neches River Near Neches affecting Anderson, Houston and Cherokee Counties. For the Neches River...including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto, Diboll, Rockland...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neches River near Alto. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Preparations should be completed for a moderate flood. Barns and farm buildings near the river will be threatened by high water. In addition, ranchers should have completed moving cattle and equipment to higher ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:15 PM CDT Sunday was 18.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.8 feet early Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 18.8 feet on 11/13/1946. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
