This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Little Sioux River near Milford affecting Dickinson County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Sioux River at Linn Grove. * WHEN...Until Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, the city park in Sioux Rapids is flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 18.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 AM CDT Monday was 19.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.9 feet this afternoon or evening.
