Fifty-two years ago, Top 40 radio was graced with a Miami cocktail lounge improv performance turned into a hit record, as "Why Can't We Live Together" brought Timmy Thomas acclaim. Now, the name Tim Thomas is back in the news, but this time it involves the acquisition of a group of radio stations in the Lowcountry of South Carolina.

The junior Republican Commissioner at the FCC has been selected to serve as a keynote speaker at the annual summit staged by the voice Inside the Beltway of small and independently owned MVPD and broadband service providers across the U.S. 

She most recently served as Executive Director of Unscripted Content and Production for Sony Pictures Entertainment, overseeing projects for both the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic markets. Before that, she spent more than a decade at TV Azteca in Mexico City.

Top TV streaming platform Roku has expanded an existing programming partnership with a Comcast division, with a new agreement in place that makes Roku content such as The Roku Channel available to FreeWheel demand partners.

The Petitioners filed comments in support of the Petition, as required by the Commission's rules (rules), reaffirming their interest in the proposed channel substitutions and that they will promptly file applications seeking authorizations on channels 11 and 35.
