FAQ: Would a FCC-licensed international broadcast station (shortwave) be considered an attributable interest that would prevent LPFM ownership?

Select FAQ Category:
No. Since US international broadcast stations are not (technically) allowed to broadcast to a domestic audience, they are not considered an attributable interest in respect to an LPFM station. KWSV-LP in Simi Valley, CA is cross-owned by shortwave station KVOH.
