New support for the Federal Register

REC has deployed a new interface with the Application Processing Interface (API) for the Federal Register.

REC DataStore

A program will run hourly at 12 minutes past each hour to poll the Federal Register API for new abstracts.  We expect these items to only be updated once per day.  

For all items for the Federal Communications Commission, the following information will be put into the DataStore:

  • Document number
  • Publication date
  • Type of notice
  • Title
  • Abstract of the document text
  • HTML URL for the item
  • PDF URL for the item
  • Public Inspection URL

The DataStore currently has items in this database dating back to March 14, 2022.

FCC.today

FCC.today will show items that were published in the Federal Register in the past 7 days.  It will display on both the desktop and mobile presentations below the Recent Legal Filings and Actions section.
