This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Minnesota... Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Lac qui Parle and Yellow Medicine Counties. .Friday morning's rainfall has combined with the recent stretch of wet weather to maintain minor flood stage on the Minnesota River at Montevideo. The Flood Warning will continue until further notice as additional rain chances exist early this week. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Minnesota River at Montevideo. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the river begin flooding, along with some basements of houses along the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 900 AM CDT Sunday, the stage was 15.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 900 AM CDT Sunday was 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 15.1 feet this afternoon. It will then fall this afternoon. It will rise to 15.1 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall again but remain above flood stage. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.1 feet on 04/14/1998.
