This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties. .Recent rainfall has resulted in a rise of water levels on the Minnesota River at Morton. The river is forecast to remain in Minor flood stage, which will be supported by additional rain chances forecast to move through the region early this week. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Minnesota River at Morton. * WHEN...Until Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in North Redwood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 900 AM CDT Sunday, the stage was 21.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 900 AM CDT Sunday was 21.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.8 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday afternoon. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 21.9 feet on 04/04/2007.
