This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Iowa River near Tama Hwy E49 affecting Tama County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...The Iowa River near Tama Hwy E49, or from Timber Creek near Le Grand...to Salt Creek near Belle Plaine. * WHEN...Until early Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 12.8 feet, Water affects portions of C Ave and D Ave from US 30 to the south. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to 12.3 feet Tuesday morning. It will then rise above flood stage Tuesday evening to 12.6 feet Wednesday evening. It will fall below flood stage again early Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
