This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog. * WHERE...In Minnesota, Northern Aitkin, Pine, South Aitkin, Carlton and South St. Louis, Central St. Louis, Northern Cook and Lake, and Southern Lake Counties. In Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield, and Douglas Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bad River Reservation, the Red Cliff Band, the Fond du Lac Band, the Bois Forte Band, Lake Vermilion area and the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley, Lena Lake, Big Sandy Lake and, East Lake areas. Recreation spots such as Madeline Island and the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. This also includes the Boundary Waters eastern and central area. * WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 8 AM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
