This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Tornado Warning issued May 26 at 8:10PM CDT until May 26 at 8:15PM CDT by NWS Lincoln IL

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for south central and southeastern Illinois. Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for portions of Clay and Richland counties until 845 PM CDT.
