This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

For the Ouachita River...including Jones Mill Dcp, Arkadelphia, Camden, Thatcher L&D...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ouachita River at Thatcher L&D. * WHEN...From Friday evening to early Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 79.0 feet, Property in low lying areas needs to be removed. Access roads to oil and gas rigs may be flooded. Levee gates should be closed before the river reaches 80 feet. There is minor flooding at this level. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 78.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Friday evening to a crest of 79.5 feet Sunday morning.
