This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...South Fabius River near Taylor. * WHEN...From this evening to Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 10.1 feet, Marion County Road 310 begins flooding just west of the east end of the road, the intersection with County Road 365. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 10.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:30 PM CDT Friday was 10.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.0 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
