This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Suwannee River at Luraville (SR 51) affecting Lafayette and Suwannee Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue. * WHERE...Suwannee River at Luraville (SR 51). * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, River begins coming out of channel banks inundating low lying bottomlands. NW Harlie Lynch Road, NW Riverbank Road, and the Blue Springs State Park begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM EDT Friday the stage was 35.4 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM EDT Friday was 36.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling to 29.6 feet Friday, May 03. - Flood stage is 35.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 33.8 feet on 04/11/2016. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
