This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Flood waters reach approximately three feet in depth at the Caplinger Mills Campground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 17.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:45 PM CDT Friday was 18.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Saturday morning and continue falling to 6.0 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 17.8 feet on 12/14/2015. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
