This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

* WHAT...For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding. For the second Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding expected. * WHERE...In Louisiana, West Cameron, East Cameron, Lower Vermilion, Lower Iberia and Lower St. Mary Parishes. In Texas, Lower Jefferson County. * WHEN...For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, until 5 PM CDT this afternoon. For the second Coastal Flood Advisory, from 5 AM to 5 PM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides will be 1 to 1.75 feet above astronomical predicted levels, mainly during the times of high tide from late morning through the afternoon hours. This will allow actual tide levels to reach 1.5 feet mean higher high water or higher during high tide times.
