This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

For the Trinity River...including Moss Bluff...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Trinity River near Moss Bluff. * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.2 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins in the vicinity of the gage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 AM CDT Saturday was 12.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 10.6 feet Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 12.2 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.5 feet on 10/31/2006. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
