This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has expanded the * Flood Watch to include portions of north central Missouri, northeast Missouri, and northwest Missouri, including the following areas, in north central Missouri, Daviess, Grundy, Harrison, Linn MO, Macon, Mercer, Putnam, and Sullivan. In northeast Missouri, Adair and Schuyler. In northwest Missouri, Andrew, Atchison MO, De Kalb, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway, and Worth. * Through Sunday afternoon * WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
