What is myLPFM?

myLPFM is a suite of tools designed to be a complete redesign of various REC tools that have been operating for over a decade without any redesign.  By making these tools work together instead of independently, the tools will become more flexible and easier to work with.

myLPFM Search and Sites going to public beta

REC Networks is announcing the public beta release of the first modules in myLPFM, REC's new overall LPFM product suite.  Once completed, myLPFM will allow potential applicants to search for a channel, assist in application filing, monitor the progress of filed applications and monitor nearby FCC application activity by other spectrum users. 

Today, REC releases myLPFM Search and myLPFM Sites.

myLPFM Search

myLPFM Search is going to be the replacement for the current REC LPFM Channel Search Tool.  myLPFM Search has been developed based on our desire to make LPFM searching more user friendly as well as feedback received by REC from users of the current LPFM Channel Search Tool.  Some of the improvements include:

REC statement regarding AFA's "underground railroad" comments

I, like many are very deeply distrubed that any organization, even one that is on the Southern Poverty Law Center's list of hate organizations advocates the commission of a crime, especially child abduction in order to further its cause.  I find it even more distrubing that this organization is also a licensed broadcaster.

FCC translator culling plan receives OMB approval.

As reported by the Communications Law Blog, the Office of Management and Budget has given approval to the FCC's plan to implement the non-preclusion plan for the 6,500 Auction 83 FM translator applications that remain pending.
