Made substantial changes to the REC-FM to add programming as a result of the new affiliation with Pacifica Network.
Added new datasets from the Mexican IFT (their regulator). These datasets include infrastructure (basic facility information) and concession (licensee information).
Modify FCCdata on FCC Mexican station records to display a cross reference to the Mexican folio ID and a link to the IFT website where more information about the facility can be obtained.
Users of FCCdata.org are now able to retrieve data from Mexico based on the records of the Instituto Federal de Telecommunicaciones (IFT), the Mexican communications regulator. The Mexico data can be retrieved by clicking on the Mexico tab and requests can be made by call sign or community name. There will also be links to the original documentation for each concession (licensee) at the IFT website.
For the LPFM community, we announce the launch of the new Voluntary Public Inspection File (VPIF) system, powered by REC Networks.
From 11/22~11/26, 2018, REC Networks has conducted an overhaul of FCCdata.org which included the merger of the codebase of our Japanese language spectrum information site, Denpahoso.com. In the past, these two experiences existed in separate environments resulting in Denpahoso not getting changes made in FCCdata (and a couple of cases where Denpahoso had the advantage). Now, when a change happens in one system, it will affect both. There will be more upgrades down the road. Thank you for making FCCdata your choice tool to use!
Converted most of the data for Mexico to a semi-automated method that involves using the data from the IFT's infrastructure and concession files to retrieve each station's KML file and update the engineering information based on the data within the KML file.
Developed systems to obtain virtual channel TV programming from the IFT website.
Added new functionality to display the AM contours that were embedded in the downloaded KML files.
Added cross-references between FCC CDBS facility ID numbers and their respective Mexican facilities in the IFT data. Completed AM data previously started and did the entire FM band. Please note that the AM coverage is nationwide and that FM and TV coverages are only within 320 km of the border as those are the only facilities that IFT has to report to the FCC.
Updated database with a new broadcast parameters sheet from Ofcom revised 11/30/2018. This updates the UK broadcast data for AM, FM and DAB.
AM and FM data has been updated to reflect the changes noted by denpa-data.com.
Updated the names of community stations based on the latest info from denpa-data.
Added several new community stations.
Added MIC record numbers and ERPs to some stations.
Enhanced call sign search to also display station name in romaji and kana.
Enhanced the back-end to make it easier to modify license information.
