FAQ: When does the community presence dates come into play?

Select FAQ Category:

Your community presence date will come into play in the event that the FCC has to resort to involuntary time sharing in your MX group. This will happen if no settlement agreements are made. If your MX group has more than three applicants with equal points, all applicants other than the top-3 will be dismissed. The top-3 will then be subject to involuntary time sharing of 8 hours per day per applicant. The applicant with the oldest community presence date will pick the first time slot choice and then the second will choose. The third ranked applicant will get the slot that is left.
