Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr announced that the items below are tentatively on the agenda for the February Open Commission Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

On Friday, the Federal Register published a summary of a Report and Order in the FCC's rulemaking proceeding amending its rules to advance the low-power television, TV translator and Class A television service. That's put the wheels in motion on an effective date for the new rules.
