Thanks to the "PIRATE Act," the FCC is able to go after landlords of buildings found to be the origin point for unlicensed radio stations. Now, an individual who owns a property in a small city north of Dayton, Ohio, has been warned to stop the buccaneer broadcasts coming from the site.

Former CBS Board Chairman, Time Warner Head Remembered

In September 2018, the post-Les Moonves era at what was then-called CBS Corporation entered another new chapter. Dick Parsons — the former head of Time Warner — was named Interim Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors. Now, many across the broadcast media industry are paying tribute to Parsons, who died December 26 in New York.

TV Movie Pioneer Irv Wilson Dies At 93

The made-for-TV movie was a genre that helped to make Irv Wilson an integral broadcast TV executive in the 1970s. Wilson died on Thursday at the age of 93, following a short illness. His work includes an acclaimed account of the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, which aired on ABC some 50 years ago as a "Hallmark Hall of Fame" presentation.
