It's been the desire of the LPTV Broadcasters Association and its founder, "SuperFrank" Copsidas, to have the FCC lift its freeze on major changes to low-power and Class A broadcast television facilities. The Commission has just turned its heat lamps on the ice, allowing these LPTV stations to engage in major modifications.

USSI Global is celebrating the recent opening of a new repair and logistics complex in Suntree, Fla. The new facility allows the company to expand beyond its warranty business and add broadcast headend and production equipment to its catalog of repair services.

With outsized attention on the rescission bill that "clawed back" preauthorized funding in FY 2025 to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the "AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act" has yet to progress to a full vote. Should that happen, supporters will be pleased to know that the bill is filibuster-proof in the U.S. Senate.
