A Class A FM radio station offering R&B and "Old School" to listeners in Central Texas is about to change hands, as paperwork has been filed with the FCC seeking the approval of a sale agreed to on Monday.

"We believe that linear TV's decline in the U.S. is irreversible," Naveen Sarma, U.S. Media and Entertainment Managing Director for S&P Global Ratings. Here's the good news: "There is no immediate cliff," Sarma said.

The system works with existing FM receivers, and GeoBroadcast Solutions is currently rolling out this technology across multiple markets.
